Pune FC – SGFI Nationals: Maharashtra Under-17 girls cruise into the semifinals

Maharashtra Under-17 Girls cruised into the semifinals with a comfortable 3-0 win over Madhya Pradesh in the Pune FC-59^th SGFI National Football Championship, at the Balewadi Sports Complex (Warm Up ground), on Tuesday.

Goals from Zarastin Mistry (14^th minute), Komal Deokule (25^th) and Karen Paes (48^th) sent the hosts into the final four.

Maharashtra’s other teams, Under-19 Girls and Under-19 Boys, suffered exits in the quarterfinal stage. The girls went down 0-4 to Tamil Nadu while the boys suffered a penalty-shootout heartbreak going down 0-3 in the tiebreaker after being tied 1-1 at full time with IPSC.
