Churchill Brothers have completed the signing of two foreign players ahead of their I-League campaign against Mohammadan sporting on 23rd November in Kolkata.
Yasser Shahen Right. Yasser Shahen 24 year old Syrian, who is currently a member of the Syrian Senior national team and the Syrian U-23 national team. He was a part of the Syrian U-23 national team in the Mediterranean Games 2009 in Italy and he scored one goal against Italy in the first match of the group-stage.He made his senior team debut in 2009 Oct 26 against Kuwait in an International friendly. Egyptian midfielder Abdel Hamid Shabana is expected to put pen to paper on Wednesday. The 25-year old plays for African champions Al Ahly but had been loaned out to Egyptian club Telephonat Beni Sweif SC for the last two seasons.Abdelhameed Shabana is well known for crashing the top clubs of Egypt with his famous goals against Zamalek, Al-Ahly and Ismaily.He has been a regular international for the Egypt U20 and Egypt U23 team, and played in the African Games qualifiers, as well as winning the Qatar U23 Cup. Yasser is expected to travel with the squad to Kolkata for the game against Mohammedan. Abdel will travel a day or two later to join the team.
