We Nepali people are crazy for the games of national team but we cannot deny the fact that our league games are not that much popular . One major reason i can see is our league which is based within a singal city. This somehow restricts the country to acquire high potential players from every nook and corners of country. We can not bound such an important platform for players within a singal city.I dont see any of the countries which are developing in football keeping their league in a limited region.
If we could decentralize our league throughout the country it will inevitably increase its popularity , peoples interest towards the club based in their region and hence clubs will benifit from fan base . Some small scale stadiums should be constructed at least one in every district where there is perspects of betterment.
Another thing we lack is professionalism in clubs despite of some clubs most are in poor situation . ANFA needs to be more friendly to the clubs . A good co-operation between clubs , governing body and private corporate sector will definately entail a better professionalism in clubs leading to players and hence a good footballing culture in the country.
