Hong Kong 2013/14 11 football stars and footballer of the year

The 2013/14 HKFA Hong Kong Top Footballer Award ceremony was held on May 29, 2014.  The 11 football stars are coming from 4 top flight clubs in Hong Kong namely, 5 from Kitchee SC, 3 from Sun Pegasus, 2 from South China and 1 from I-Sky Yuen Long.

The best goalkeeper award went to Mr. Yapp Hung Fai of South China.  The best right side defender is Mr. Lo Kwan Yee from Kitchee SC.  The best central defenders are Nando Recio from Kitchee SC and Mr. Igor Miovic from Sun Pegasus and the left side defender being Mr. Edison Kwok Kin Pong of South China.

The midfield line up is Mr. De Souza Wellingsson of I-Sky Yuen Long, Mr. Ju Ying Zhi of Sun Pegasus, Mr. Tarres Jorge and Mr. Lam Ka Wai both from Kitchee SC.  The  forward are Mr. Rascic Admir of Sun Pegasus and Mr. Juan Carlos Belencoso of Kitchee SC.

The two youth best players of the year go to Mr. Chuck Yiu Kwok of BC Rangers and Mr. Wong Wai from Yokohama FC (HK).

The best coach for the year goes to Mr. Chan Chi Hong of Sun Pegasus.

The 2013/14 Hong Kong Footballer of the Year goes to Mr. Nando Recio from Kitchee SC.  This is the fourth years in a row Kitchee SC players clinched the Hong Kong Footballer of the Year with three previous winners namely Mr. Rober Rodriguez (2010/11), Mr. Lo Kwan Yee (2011/12), and Mr. Huang Yang (2012/13).

Mr. Nando is very happy to be the Footballer of the Year and he has via Kitchee facebook thank you for the support of the team members as well as the fans in particular of the warm hearted greetings and support at the time of his injury back in April this year.
