Odafa all set for CFL

At last, Mohun Bagan can afford to heave a sigh of relief.

The mainstay of their team, Okolie Odafe, is all set to play his first match of the season when Bagan lock horns with Bhowanipore Club in Sunday’s CFL Premier Division Championship Round tie, at the Barasat Stadium.

On Sept. 4, the Nigerian had sustained a quadricep injury during a training session at the Salt Lake Stadium. Since then, he was ruled out of action.

With striker Eric Muranda, too, nursing a injury, coach Karim Bencharifa would certainly be more than happy to get his team’s premier player back in the playing XI, especially with the I-League Derby round the corner.
