Pune FC renew deal with ProZone

With the new I-League season underway, Pune FC has renewed its license with the use of industry-leading football performance analysis software provider ProZone, for their Match-Insight software.

Despite being one of the youngest clubs in the I-League, Pune FC was the first club in India to work with ProZone for their performance analysis needs (starting in the 2010-11 season) and hence 2013-14 will be the fourth successive season for the continued partnership. During this period, the use of ProZone has assisted in the entire Pre-Match/ Post-Match Analysis process at the club become more thorough, efficient and useful.

The Pune FC Management and Coaches are firm believers in using all the tools possible at their disposal to help achieve the best performance. In fact, since 2009, Pune FC have employed a full-time Video and Match Analyst, to evaluate the team performance and also their opponents.

The Technical team will be using Prozone’s MATCHINSIGHT software; a self-coding performance analysis system using single camera footage, providing the management and coaching staff with a multi-layered, interactive coaching tool, for technical, tactical and video analysis.

Pune FC, in 2010, was not only the first club in India, but also in the whole of South and South-East Asia to utilize this service, normally used at the highest level of the professional game. Hence , it will definitely be a very useful tool in the club’s armory this season, as they embark on competing in Asian competition also, wherein a few clubs in West, South-East and East Asia are also using ProZone.
