Pune FC’s effort to fulfil Licencing criteria for the ongoing 2013-14 season received due recognition by the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
The feat – incidentally an Indian football first – enabled Pune FC attain a new high among all clubs in the country.
The acknowledgement of the feat came when the National body awarded Pune FC with a Certificate at the AIFF Club Licensing Seminar held at Football House, New Delhi on Wednesday (18th December, 2013).
Pune FC Head Operations Chirag Tanna accepted the Certificate from AIFF General Secretary Mr. Kushal Das, Vice-President Mr. Subrata Dutta, I-League Chairman Mr. AR Khaleel, on behalf of the club.
Tanna said: “We have managed to fulfill the criteria because of the hard work put in by the administrative staff. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes at the club and our administrative staff have done an outstanding job. Everyone at the AIFF have been very helpful and we thank them for their support.”
The other club officials included; Pune FC General Manager, Dr. B Ashok Kumar and Senior Executive Administration Amit Dharap.
The three-member team attended the day-long Seminar that revolved around the Licensing criteria and guidance to all the Clubs to attain the same.
