Management Battle In Mohun Bagan AC !

Two members of parliament(MPs) have got into a slug fest over running Asia's oldest Mohun Bagan Club. One is Trinamool Congress MP from Howrah,Prasun Banerjee while the other is Trinamool Congress MP,Srinjoy Bose, whose father Tutu Bose is the club president.

Banarjee, former Bagan skipper, used his Facebook page to launch a scatching attack on the club and said it was time the present management improve things so that things change for the good.
If this does not happen,Banarjee said former players of the club could contest the next election to take of the club which is languishing at the sixth place in the current Airtel I-League.

Banerjee also said club secretary Anjan Mitra and finance secretary Debashish Dutta should take the moral responsibility of the series of losses and step down immediately.

"MB is my mother.First I am a Mohun Bagani, then captain of Indian National Team or Arjuna Awardee.I owe my footballing career to Mohun Bagan. But,inside the club,I am nothing more than just a member.I have been telling time and again to set up a technical committee with Shyamal Banerjee,CromptonDutta,Bidesh Bose,Manas Bhattacharya,Sisir Ghosh and Satyajit Chatterjee."

"I have immense respect for bose family (Tutuda and Srinijoy) for their contribution to club, but I request them to listen to our voices."

"If officials neither can do betterment nor hear to our advice,we,on,on behalf of ex-players' forum will fight in the election and will and will make a new Mohun Bagan."
Bose is,expectedly,livid.

"Mr.Prasun Banerjee is free to take part in the elections. But what is upsetting is that he has grumbled on a social networking site,"Bose concluded
