Dempo trio selected for u22 National team Selection camp

The All India Football Federation has confirmed that the selection of their three promising youngsters for the upcoming selection camp for AFC U-22 championship qualifiers.

Myron Fernandes, Sahil Tavora and Deryl Endro will be reporting at Bangalore for a 2 week camp starting on 26th January.

Ushering a new era of youngsters at the club, Dempo Head Coach Arthur Papas is elated with the development “As a club we are ecstatic with the call ups of some of our young starlets to the U22 National Team Camp. All three boys this season have been full time with the first team squad and this opportunity to now train with the country’s most talented players within their age group will assist their future development” said Mr. Papas

Myron Fernandes and Deryl Endro have risen from the junior teams of Dempo SC while Sahil was signed from Sesa Academy last year.

In 2011, Myron was selected by the club for a 3 months training stint at FC Midtjylland, Denmark. Deryl and Sahil have been impressive in the Goa League and have shown lot of promise through their performances.

Sahil and Myron are currently with the Goa-India squad of Lusofonia Games and as such will be joining the camp only after the completion of the triennial event on 29th January.
