IFA Shield 2014:Geylang to face Eastbengal

Singapore outfit Geylang International ,one of the three foreign club who taking part in IFA Shield 2014 to face Indian club Eastbengal FC today.The match will be played in Saltlake stadium Kolkata at 3.30 pm.This is the first match for Singapore club while last year runners up Eastbengal drew their first match against Korean club Sunmoon University with scoring one goal each.

Initially Geylang had sceduled to play their first match against current champions United SC.But due to some visa problem they could not arrive at time and the match postponed to feb7th.The team now in Kolkata and having a practice section at the Eastbengal Ground.

This is the 3rd time they are facing each other as they have met 2 times in AFC Cup 2004 in which Eastbengal won one and drew one.
