Royal Wahingdoh earned their second straight I-League II win in Aizawl thanks to a first half double strike by Babatunde on Saturday.
Bekay Bawar was also responsible for two goals with an assist and a converted penalty in the 40th minute.
Wahingdoh took an 18th minute lead after Bekay sent in a cross that allowed a Babatunde tap-in. Then in the 40th minute, Royal Wahingdoh were awarded a penalty which was converted by Bekay for a 2-0 lead.
However, United Sikkim struck back with a goal from Jeh Williamson to set his side back on track.
Just as the match seemed evenly poised, Babatunde collected a Jackichand rebound before finishing it off with a shot past the keeper, taking Wahingdoh into half time with a 3-1 lead. United Sikkim’s Shahensha Ansari added one more goal for Sikkim in the 71st minute but it was too late by then.
