Messi Leads Strong Argentina Squad Team to Hong Kong

Argentina captain Lionel Messi will lead a strong Argentina squad to play against the Hong Kong Representative Team next month as part of the Hong Kong Football Association’s (HKFA) centenary celebration.

Organised by the HKFA, the match will be played on the official FIFA match date 14 October 2014 at the Hong Kong Stadium.

Gerardo Martino, Argentina National Team Manager, has announced his selection of players for the match against Hong Kong. The list includes Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Javier Mascherano, Gonzalo Higuain, Angel Di Maria, Marcos Rojo, Paolo Zabaleta, Martin Demichelis and etc. As the list announced by Martino only includes players playing for overseas clubs, there will be more players called up from the Argentine domestic league in due course.

Match tickets are selling fast and they are priced at HK$1,800, $1,300, $850, $590 and $490.
