Brazilian attacking midfielder Andre Moritz signed for Mumbai City to feature in inaugural Hero Indian Super League.
Andre Moritz,28 who have experience of playing for major English clubs such as Crystal Palace and Bolton Wanderes will surely strengthen Mumbai City FC midfield.He will joins the rank of Anelka,Lijuburg and Manual Friedrich in the squad.
Andre Moritz started his senior professional career with Brazilian club Internacional after spending youth career at Avai FC and Internacional.He then moved to notable Brazilian club Fluminense and he not only helped them to avoid relegation in the Brazilian top flight football but also helped them to win 2007 Copa Do Brazil.
He moved to English club Crystal Palace in 2012 after several years of playing career in Turkish league for the likes of Kasimpasa and Kayserispor.
Andre Moritz joined Bolton Wanderers and spent a year with the club before moving to Korean K- League club Pohang Steelers.
Presence of players like Nicolas Anelka and Lijunburg made him not thinking twice before switching to Indian Super League side Mumbai City FC.
Mumbai City FC to play their first match against Atletico de Kolkata in the inaugural Hero Indian Super League at Saltlake Stadium Kolkata on 12th this month.
