Premier League Top 4 Prediction

Alex BL's prediction for top 4 finish in English Premier League
1. Chelsea - already 8 points clear of their thought to be 'main rivals' (Man City) and showing no signs of slowing down, Chelsea appear to be a shoo-in to lift this year's premier league title. Particularly with the addition of Diego Costa upfront, who has so far proved an invaluable purchase for the blues, Chelsea have as good a chance as ever before to go the duration of the season without losing a game.

2. Man City - in spite of their disappointing start to the season both in Europe and in the league (having won one game in their last five), City remain in the top three of the league and providing Sergio Aguero stays fit they will always have a serious chance of achieving this season. But following a disappointing summer transfer window, it is that Pellegrini spends wisely come the January transfer window, especially as they have the incentive of defending their the premier league title.

3. Arsenal - the gunners are there or there abouts in terms of where they'd expect to be at this stage of the season. They currently rank 5th in the division, 1 point behind West Ham, but providing they beat Swansea tomorrow they'll reclaim the fourth place that they seem to have made their own in recent years. Arsenal will need their top scorer Alexis Sanchez to maintain his sparkling form if they are going to achieve well this season.

4. Man Utd - United, and Louis Van Gaal in particular, have come under significant scrutiny following their underwhelming start to the 2014/15 season. But once this team has had some time to integrate their spectacular talent in attack with the promising youth in defence, they have the potential to be a very exciting team this year. Providing Van Gaal is successful in gelling the individual talents in his team, I'm sure they will turn it around and clinch a champions league spot, which would go some way to repairing the sorrows of last season.
