Top 10 Worst Brendan Rodgers Signings at LFC

Top 10 Worst Brendan Rodgers Signings at LFC
Brendan Rodgers is known for being dodgy in the transfer market. Here are his top 10 worst signings during his spell at Liverpool.

#10- Tiago Ilori - Ilori hasn't really had a chance to show how good he could be, but the signing of him was strange. Liverpool had other needs in the squad but decided to sign Ilori and proceeded to loan him out. Strange.

#9 - Joe Allen - Rodgers dubbed Allen 'The Welsh Xavi'. He definitely isn't. Allen isn't a bad player by any means, but for £15m Liverpool could have got a lot better.

#8 - Victor Moses - Moses isn't a bad player, again, but this signing just didn't work out for whatever reason. It might not have been a loan but it's hard to remember a good performance from the Nigerian at Anfield.

#7- Oussama Assaidi - Another strange signing. Assaidi was signed and not given a chance by Rodgers. He's since bounced around and is now at Stoke on loan.

#6 - Luis Alberto - He has hardly featured for Liverpool, but when he has, he's looked off the pace. £7m for a player who Rodgers had no intention of fitting into his team. Weird.

#5 - Iago Aspas - The Spanish striker will always be remembered for his terrible corner against Chelsea. Says it all.

#4 - Simon Mignolet - A good shot stopper, Simon Mignolet continues to let Liverpool down with mistake after mistake. The decision to have Mignolet over Reina looks a dodgy one. Liverpool need a new 'keeper, desperately.

#3 - Fabio Borini - One of Rodgers first signings, Borini just isn't good enough for Liverpool. A decent loan spell at Sunderland proved his level. £10.5m looks pretty bad now.

#2 - Aly Cissokho - It may only have been a loan, but Aly Cissokho was completely lost everytime he played for Liverpool. Was a massive liability. He's since gone to Villa.

#1- Dejan Lovren - What can be said about Lovren? He looked good for half a season at Southampton and Liverpool spent £20m on him - making him one of the most expensive CBs in the world. He hasn't lived up to that. Him and Skrtel have become one of the worst partnerships in the Premier League. Easily Rodgers' worst signing.
