Indian Super League to see more super players next season!

The second edition of Indian Super League will have more star players from across the world as there won't be no player draft system and the teams will allow to choose their own players.

In this season ,there was limitation on direct signing by clubs.Even then clubs managed to bring quality players like Elano,Katsouranis from out side the pool.

It has been also learned that the ISL would run for three months from next season between September 15 and December 15.

The inaugural edition of ISL ,got few times postponement and finally started it on October 12.The league was originally scheduled for September 15 and December 15 window.But it could not went according to the schedule for some reasons like infrastructure development and franchisee withdrawal.

However the league gets massive success on and off the pitch.Atletico de Kolkata won the inaugural edition of the league by beating Kerala Blasters 1-0.

The league saw over 16 lac stadium attendance along with 1.6 crore online viewers and over 10 billion social media exchanges.And also ISL became the third most league in the world in terms of average attendance (26505) only behind Bundes liga and English Premier League.

According to Kushal Das ,the AIFF secretary ,the 1st season of ISL has been very success and it helped to create some quality infrastructure across the country.And also association Indian players with high profile foreign coaches and players made them to increase the level standard of play and the success of ISL would have a effect on upcoming I-League.

The I-League would start from January 16th and it would have two matches per day at the timings of 4.30 and 7pm.The matches will be broadcasting live on Ten Network
