Sporting Club De Goa further boosted their squad by the addition of Niger International player Kofi Dankwae for the 2014-15 season.
Kofi Dankwae ,the 25 year old defensive mid fielder has represented Niger national team for 19 times and had a part of Niger squad which competed in 2012 African Cup of Nations.He last done Niger color on November 2014 in a AFCON qualifier match against Mozambique,which ended in 1-1 draw.
He started his professional career in 2004 with Sahel SC of Niger Premier league,where he stayed till 2010.He had spent 3 season with Tunisian club ES Zarsis before moving to Bidvest Wits FC of south African Premier league.
The deal is facilitated by Cameroon Football Agency.With the signing of Kofi Dankwae ,Sporting Goa completed their foreign quota as they already have Australian Boima Karpeh,Trinidad and Tobago due Anthony and Glenton Wolfe.
I think,this is first time someone from Niger going to play in India.That too in Goa,well excited to see him in Federation Cup and I-League
