Green Valley ready for I-League 2

Green Valley Sports Club will play in the 2nd Division I–League 2013–14 which will be held in 2 groups at Railway Stadium, Dhanbad and Paljor Stadium, Gangtok. Green Valley SC is the lone participant team from Assam.

They are placed in Group A and will play their first match on Saturday against MP United FC at Dhanbad. PIFA Sports, Kalighat Milan Sangha, Royal Wahingdoh and Garhwal FC are the other teams in this group.

Three Nigerian players will play for Green Valley. They are Stanley Cyprian Okoroigwe, Kareem Omolaja Nurain and Micheal Lucky Kelechukwa. Robin Charles Raja will be the Chief Coach of the team.

Green Valley will play Royal Wahingdoh on February 10, Garhwal FC on February 12, PIFA Sports on February 14 and Kalighat Milan Sangha on February 14.
