Van Gaal agrees to be next Manchester United manager |
Dutch football manager Louis van Gaal agrees to be next Manchester United manager, according to 'Goal'.
An agreement is reportedly reached between the manager and the Manchester United owners.
United today publicly distanced themselves from rumours that Van Gaal has already signed a contract but they have not denied that agreement was reached between the two parties.
Van Gaal is said to be approached by two other clubs, Tottenham Hotspurs and Arsenal but after getting an offer to become Manchester United’s manger, he rejected the other clubs.
The 62-years-old manager is said to appoint Patrick Kluivert, the former Holland striker, who has played under Van Gaal at Ajax and Barcelona before signing for Newcastle in 2004, to his back-room staff.
Van Gaal is expected to sign a short-term contract of after the World cup and would not be for more than 3 years.
Van Gaal has won league titles in three different countries.
