Alves banana thrower arrested

Spanish police confirmed the arrest of 26 year old David Campayo Lieo,who racially insulted Barcelona and Brazilian defender Dani Alves by throwing a banana at him.

It has been learned that the wrongdoer worked for Villarreal.Spanish media reporting that he was dismissed from his role on the coaching staff of one of the club's youth teams.

However the Spanish club refused to comment on David Campayo's role with the club.He could face one to three years in prison if found guilty of charges associated with racist provocation.Media claiming that Villareal has already banned Campayo Lleo from the team's El Madrigal Stadium for life.
