Goan Sports schools soccer from Monday

Twelve teams will be participating in the 8th Goan Sports Association (GSA) Inter-Schools (Boy’s under-12) football tournament organised by GSA at their ground, Cross Maidan, from February 10 to 26. Defending champions Don Bosco ‘B’, Don Bosco ‘A’, Campion HS, St. Francis D’Assisi, St. Mary’s ICSE, Sundatta HS, Diamond Jubilee HS, Sir J.J. Fort, Bal Mohan, St. Paul’s, St. Lawrence and Don Bosco, Borivali will be vying for the top honours.

The 12 teams have been divided into four pools of three each and top team from each pool will progress to the semi-finals on February 25. The finals are scheduled to be played on February 26.In the opening fixture on Monday afternoon, holders Don Bosco ‘B’ clash with St. Mary’s ICSE, Mazagaon in Group-A and later Don Bosco ‘A’ face off against Diamond Jubilee in Group-C.
